MANAOAG, Pangasinan – One of the oldest and largest candle factories in this Pangasinan municipality was gutted by fire that broke out at around 2:30 a.m. on Friday. Mayor Jeremy Rosario said that 30 fire trucks from different towns and a private company were in the area to put out the fire, which had been difficult to contain because of stockpiles of paraffin, wick, and other materials used to make candles inside the factory, Blexon Wax and Candle Manufacturer.
