MANILA, Philippines — Former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV on Friday said that he will drop the criminal complaints he filed against four of the 18 alleged former Marines who recanted their previous bribery allegations. The 18 men, who identified themselves as bodyguards of former Ako Bicol Rep. Elizaldy Co, accused Trillanes of receiving $2 million to bribe the investigators of the International Criminal Court. They also alleged that they delivered suitcases filled with cash to various political figures. Trillanes said he already communicated with his lawyer to withdraw the case he filed against the four men.
