POCO Carnival 2026: Big discounts on the POCO F8 Ultra, F8 Pro, and more
Aug 7, 2026 — 4:01 AM ET
Since the POCO F1 first showed up in 2018 and earned the “flagship killer” label, POCO has built its identity around putting flagship-level specs into phones that don’t cost flagship money. The brand enjoys a presence in 98 markets worldwide, with a young, tech-savvy fan base that keeps coming back for the next release. Eight years later, that same philosophy shines through with POCO’s latest smartphones. And this year, POCO is marking the anniversary with its biggest Carnival yet.
This year’s event runs under the theme “From 8 to ∞,” and while big discounts are a part of it, the POCO Carnival 2026 is more than a sale. The annual fan festival mixes real hardware upgrades with community challenges and limited-time pricing, showcasing POCO’s entire lineup, from the flagship POCO F8 Ultra to the C81 Pro. Here’s what you need to know.
POCO Carnival 2026: From 8 to ∞
The 2026 edition of the POCO Carnival is built as a two-way event: discounts on one side, and an invitation for the community to participate on the other. As always, it’s POCO’s yearly thank-you to the fan base that’s helped push the brand across the globe. And this year’s “Complete Your ∞” challenge puts that community front and center from the start.
This year, POCO fans can co-create the brand’s story by contributing their own piece of it. Fans can head to Facebook or X, download the official “Complete Your ∞” template, draw their own half of the infinity symbol, and post it with #POCOCarnival and @POCO.Global for a shot at exclusive gifts. It’s a small creative task that fits perfectly into the “POCO + You = Infinity” story that POCO is going for.
Running alongside the community challenge is the shopping event, with big discounts on all POCO smartphones, from flagship devices to the budget-friendly entry-level options.
The POCO Carnival 2026 runs from August 7 through August 23, with discounts live across the F8 series, X8 Pro series, M8 series, and the C81 Pro on mi.com. You can even add extra savings on top of the standard Carnival pricing by using the code POCO8TH at checkout.
POCO F8 Ultra
The POCO F8 Ultra is the standout of this year’s Carnival, and it’s easy to see why. It’s among the first phones globally to run the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with POCO’s own VisionBoost D8 chipset in a dual-chip setup. The latter is built for gaming, pushing supported titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail up to 120 FPS at 1.5K resolution with AI-upscaled detail.
The camera system is also excellent. The highlight is a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main sensor with OIS, using a large 1/1.31-inch sensor for cleaner shots in low light and backlit scenes. It’s paired with POCO’s first 5x periscope telephoto lens, capable of up to 20x zoom through computational photography, plus a 50MP ultra-wide and a 32MP front camera.
Up front, the F8 Ultra debuts POCO’s first HyperRGB panel, a 6.9-inch 120Hz AMOLED that hits a 3,500-nit peak brightness and delivers sharper text and richer color than a typical AMOLED screen.
Audio comes from a speaker system co-tuned with Bose, and the whole phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 with Google Gemini built in for search, image generation, and other AI tasks. Battery life gets a boost too, with a 6,500mAh cell, the largest in the F series, backed by 100W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge for fast top-ups.
The design keeps things premium with an aluminum-alloy frame in Denim Blue or Black, both rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
During the Carnival 2026 event, the POCO F8 Ultra is priced starting at $699.

POCO F8 Pro
The POCO F8 Pro shares the same Snapdragon 8 Elite platform as the Ultra and delivers PC-level performance for high-load tasks and gaming. It’s also the first POCO Pro model to get a telephoto camera, a 50MP lens, paired with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide.
The design is a highlight, too. The F8 Pro debuts POCO’s first one-piece milled glass back, CNC-carved for a glossy-matte finish that pairs a frosted panel with a glossy camera deco. It wraps around a 6.59-inch HyperRGB AMOLED display with the same 3,500-nit peak brightness as the Ultra.
A 6,210mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge powers everything, and it carries the same Bose-tuned speaker setup and IP68 rating as the Ultra.
Available in Titanium Silver, Blue, and Black finishes, the POCO F8 Pro starts at $599.

POCO X8 Pro Max
The X8 Pro Max leads the X series with the Dimensity 9500s, one of the first phones globally to use MediaTek’s newest flagship chipset. It’s backed by an 8,500mAh silicon-carbon battery that’s one of the largest in POCO’s history, giving you around two days of use on a single charge. And when you do need to charge, 100W HyperCharge will have you up and running in minutes.
Its 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display hits a 3,500-nit peak brightness, and the 50MP Light Fusion 600 main camera handles most shooting scenarios with OIS and improved dynamic range in low light or high contrast.
The design adds a racetrack-style RGB lighting accent around the camera deco, and the phone carries IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K water and dust resistance, well beyond what most phones in this segment offer. It runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 with Google Gemini and Circle to Search built in for quick access to information without switching apps.
During the Carnival, the POCO X8 Pro Max starts at $499.

POCO X8 Pro
The X8 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8500 Ultra, the first phone globally to use that chipset, and pairs it with a 6,500mAh battery and 100W HyperCharge that gets the phone to full in well under an hour.
The 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display shares the same 3,500-nit peak brightness as the others in the series. And the 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS handles everyday shoots well, backed by an 8MP ultra-wide and 20MP front camera.
Design-wise, you’ll find the same racetrack RGB lighting and IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating as the X8 Pro Max in a more compact body, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and running the same HyperOS 3 software as the rest of the lineup.
Until August 23, the POCO X8 Pro is priced starting at just $379.

POCO M8 Pro 5G
The M8 Pro 5G punches above its weight, pulling some of the best features from its more expensive siblings. It has a 6,500mAh battery matching the F8 Ultra’s capacity and 100W HyperCharge that gets it from empty to full in just 40 minutes.
Its 6.83-inch 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED display reaches 3,200 nits peak brightness, and the 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera is the same sensor found on the F8 Pro, backed by an 8MP ultra-wide and 32MP front camera with 4K video recording.
Running on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, it also picks up the same Bose-tuned speakers as the F8 Pro and IP68 dust and water resistance.
During Carnival 2026, until August 23, the POCO M8 Pro 5G starts at just $309.

A 5,520mAh battery with 45W turbo charging keeps it running through a full day, and the 50MP AI dual camera system handles 4K video recording alongside everyday photos, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.
