Hollywood power couple Tom Holland and Zendaya have reportedly held a secret, £500,000 wedding at a sprawling Surrey estate – complete with a phone ban for guests and a “natural” theme.

The pair, who met exactly a decade ago on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, have had a busy summer, with cinemagoers currently have two blockbuster movies starring the pair to choose from: Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and the latest installment in the Spider-Man franchise, A New Day.

Holland, 30, and Zendaya, 29, got hitched earlier this year with the former confirming the marriage in an interview with Esquire UK back in June after AI images purported to be from the big day were shared online.

While details of their first nuptials were kept under wraps, it’s now been revealed that the couple held a big bash at the swish Beaverbrook hotel on Tuesday (4 August).

The five-star Beaverbrook venue is described as a “quintessentially English estate overlooking the Surrey Hills” – and helpfully, it’s less than 15 miles away from the couple’s Richmond home. The property was previously owned by the late newspaper proprietor Lord Beaverbrook, who hosted the likes of Winston Churchill, Rudyard Kipling and Elizabeth Taylor.

A source told The Sun that the pair “went to great lengths to stop any information or pictures getting out”, adding: “So neither guests nor staff were allowed their mobiles.”

Renovated for an eye-watering £90m in 2017, Beaverbrook is home to four restaurants, including a Japanese grill – where a set menu costs £125 per person (and that’s before you’ve added any drinks). Its sprawling grounds feature acres of gardens, and padel and tennis courts.

“There was very natural theme to the wedding,” another insider told US publication People, adding that Holland’s three brothers were in attendance and reportedly sported “black tuxedos” and “tucked dainty wildflowers into the buttonholes of their jackets”.

The nuptials seem a far cry from this year’s biggest celebrity wedding: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s New York extravaganza. The “Blank Space” singer and her American footballer beau brought Manhattan to a standstill with their two-day Madison Square Garden celebrations, estimated to cost at least $20m, before announcing their marriage on huge electronic billboards outside the unconventional venue.

While Holland and Zendaya often mention their relationship on their (sometimes joint) promotional trails, it seems highly unlikely that fans will learn much more about their big day.

The pair have been incredibly careful to keep details of their partnership out of the public eye, and decided against announcing their engagement after Holland got down on one knee during the Christmas period in late 2024.

Explaining their decision to set a clear boundary, Euphoria star Zendaya told The New York Times’ Modern Love podcast in April: “I just feel like for me there is a level of parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand.

“I’m aware that I’m a public person and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that, and I don’t want to dismiss that like ‘stay out of my business’, or whatever.

“In a lot of ways, I’m also a very private person, and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well.”
