Reina Filipinas kicks off Grand Coronation Night

The Reina Filipinas has officially opened the Grand Coronation Night for its inaugural edition on Friday, Aug. 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.

The finals night began with a glitzy opening number featuring the 21 candidates and reigning Miss Grand International 2025 and the pageant’s national director Emma Tiglao. Each bet also commanded attention with their creative introductions.

The delegates from all over the country are vying for the Reina Filipinas Grand International title—whose winner will represent the Philippines in the 2026 Miss Grand International pageant—and the Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars crowns.

The winners will be determined through public votes and scores from the judging panel, which includes Filipino designer Michael Cinco, MGI All Stars first-edition winner Vanessa Pulgarin, her second runner-up Nguyen Huong Giang of Vietnam, and Miss Grand International 2024 CJ Opiaza.
