CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Several ferry trips to and from Romblon were canceled on Saturday, Aug. 8, due to rough seas caused by prevailing bad weather, according to the Romblon provincial information office. The cancellations followed gale warnings and unfavorable sea conditions that prompted shipping companies to suspend several vessel operations as a safety precaution for passengers and crew.
