And welcome to the ABC Sport coverage of round 23 of the NRL season.

My name is Simon Smale and it is my pleasure to be here to take you through all three NRL games that we have this afternoon.

We start in Bears country, or what will soon be Bears country, with Perth hosting the clash between the Storm and the Sea Eagles.

Then we shift to sunny Brisbane where the Broncos face a tough away trip, albeit to their usual stomping ground Lang Park, to take on the Dolphins in the derby.
