Kangana Ranaut’s film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata will be released on streaming service ZEE5 on August 14, the makers announced on Friday (August 7, 2026).

Written and directed by Manoj Tapadia, the film is set during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, recounting the actions of nurses, ward boys, cleaners, security personnel of Mumbai’s Cama and Albless Hospital, who became the first line of defence for the patients in their care.

The film also stars Girija Oak and Smita Tambe in pivotal roles. Speaking about its ZEE5 release, Kangana said in a statement, “As both an actor and producer, it was incredibly important for me to bring to life the untold stories of the healthcare workers who stood fearlessly between terror and humanity during the 26/11 attacks. Releasing this film around Independence Day makes its message even more meaningful, as it reminds us that the spirit of India is defined not only by those who defend the nation on the frontlines, but also by ordinary citizens who rise to extraordinary challenges in moments of crisis.”

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata was released in theatres on June 12 earlier this year. It is produced by EN Studios, Manikarnika Films and Paramhans Creations in association with Eunoia Films LLP and Floating Rocks Entertainment Pvt Ltd
