According to Ukrinform, Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
On August 7, Russian forces killed one resident of the Donetsk region in Sloviansk.
Another 15 people in the region were wounded over the past day.
As Filashkin emphasized, the total number of victims caused by Russian forces' actions in the Donetsk region, which amounts to 4,256 dead and 10,090 injured, does not include the temporarily occupied cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Later, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported that, in total, 44 residential buildings, a gas station, and a warehouse were damaged or destroyed in the Donetsk region over the past day due to Russian shelling.
In Raihorodok, part of the Mykolaivka community in the Kramatorsk district, five private homes were destroyed, and six were damaged as a result of enemy attacks.
In Sloviansk, 27 private homes, seven cars, two gas stations, and a warehouse were damaged.
In Kramatorsk, three cars were damaged, and in Bilenke, a private house was damaged.
In Myrna Dolyna, Oleksandrivka community, a private home was damaged; in Novomykolaivka, Cherkaske community, two private homes and a car were destroyed, with the same number of houses damaged.

In total, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces shelled settlements in the Donetsk region 51 times. A total of 644 people, including 50 children, were evacuated from the front lines.
As previously reported, Russian troops killed one resident of the Donetsk region and wounded five others over the past two days.
