Manila-bound flight returns to Hong Kong after suspected cargo door issue
Police say flight CEB143 landed safely at airport, with no injuries reported
A Manila-bound flight returned to Hong Kong airport after its cargo door was suspected to have opened on Saturday.
Police said officers were alerted at 3.05pm to the incident involving flight CEB143.
The plane landed safely at Hong Kong International Airport and no one was injured, the force said.
According to the flightradar24 website, the Philippine airline Cebu Pacific flight was originally scheduled to depart 2pm on Saturday and arrive at 4.25pm.
But it returned to Hong Kong airport, before departing again later at 5.24pm.
