SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — The Quimmarayan River in Santo Domingo town was close to overflowing Saturday afternoon due to debris under the Nambaran Bridge. As of 3 p.m., the river’s water level had risen close to overflowing, according to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO). A declogging team from the General Services Office and Municipal Engineering Office was dispatched to clear the debris, improve water flow and prevent the river from overflowing.
