BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — One person was rescued after a landslide struck an area in Atok, Benguet, on Sunday, Aug. 9, amid heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon, or “habagat”. The victim was brought to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for medical attention, according to the Atok Municipal Police Station.
