The president stated this in his nightly video address, according to Ukrinform.
"There will be new contacts with mediators this week, specifically regarding the steps and proposals that are needed. Ukraine is always active diplomatically. There will be new contacts to secure air defense packages – to protect our country and our people," the president said.
"One more thing. Whatever happens, we remember that everything rests on the resilience of our units and our soldiers on the front line. This week, there is reason to commend our 14th National Guard Brigade, which is fighting in the Dobropillia area. Thank you, warriors! On the Kostiantynivka axis – the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Thank you! On the Kramatorsk axis – thank you to the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade. And in the areas of active combat, I thank the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade as well," Zelensky said.

The president expressed his gratitude to "everyone who is defending our country and our positions, and to everyone who remembers that the fate of Ukraine and Ukrainian independence is determined by the contribution each of us makes in practice to defending Ukraine and supporting those around us."
