Kyle Sandilands’ new digital radio show, Kyle Sandilands Live, began streaming live on Monday morning with a “clunky” start.

“It is live. We’re all here, and it’s a digital mess behind the scenes,” Sandilands said at the start of the show, before introducing his new cast, including longtime manager and best friend Bruno Bouche, as well as Mary Madigan, formerly from News Corp’s News.com.au.

“We’re off to a clunky start,” he added.

When Sandilands introduced Jaimee Blazquez as his executive director, Bouche referred to her using an expletive, to which Sandilands replied jokingly: “Bruno, I made it quite clear that the ensemble cast. This isn’t some potty mouth all boys club filth nest”.

The first guest, psychic John Edwards, was shown on-air via Zoom, although impeded by technological issues.

Sandilands said NSW Premier Chris Minns was joining in live at 7 am, with a potential call-in from One Nation leader Pauline Hanson.

More to come.
