MABALACAT CITY — Gov. Lilia Pineda suspended classes at all levels, and work at government offices in Pampanga, on Monday (August 10), due to persistent monsoon rains. In an executive order she issued late afternoon on Sunday (August 9), Pineda cited the advisory issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Administration (PAGASA), which says Pampanga will experience accumulated rainfall of 50-100 mm by Monday.
