Phinma books P20.1M first-half profit

MANILA, Philippines — Phinma Corp. saw its attributable net income rise to P20.11 million in the first half of 2026, as growth in its education business helped cushion weakness in its property and construction materials segments.

The listed holding company booked consolidated revenues of P9.55 billion during the six-month period. Consolidated net income, meanwhile, rose to P363.35 million.

Phinma attributed its performance to sustained growth in education, more efficient operations in construction materials, regional development projects in properties and community housing and stable domestic demand in hospitality.

Its education arm remained a major earnings driver, posting P819.75 million in consolidated net income on revenues of P3.12 billion.

The company cited sustained enrollment growth and continued cost management initiatives. /pai
