GCC’s Special Projects Wing is set to revamp the underbellies of 10 flyovers into usable public spaces with parks, walking tracks and parking lots with EV charging facilities.

According to someone associated with Greater Chennai Corporation and familiar with the development, the other flyovers that come under this new project include the flyover near Music Academy, the flyover near Narada Gana Sabha, the flyover in Mahalingapuram, the flyover near Government Museum in Egmore and the new flyover on North Usman Road.
