MANILA, Philippines — The water level in several dams across the country continued to rise on Monday, Aug. 10, as the enhanced southwest monsoon, or Habagat, brought intense rain and dampened different parts of Luzon. Based on data from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Angat, San Roque, and Magat Dams recorded the biggest increases over the past 24 hours.
