MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. The Russian side did not conduct any official negotiations with Germany on issues of Ukrainian settlement, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview with TASS.
"There have been and are no official contacts with Germany on issues of Ukrainian settlement, and they are unlikely to be possible given the extremely aggressive anti-Russian rhetoric and practical steps of the German political leadership," the deputy minister noted.
At the same time, Galuzin highlighted the existence of informal contacts between representatives of public groups. "As for informal meetings of representatives of various public organizations of Russia and Germany, they have taken place and are continuing," the Russian diplomat emphasized.
Earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev reported on alleged contacts in Baku between representatives of Russia and Germany on the issue of Ukrainian settlement.
