MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. All hostile and provocative actions by Chisinau will receive an appropriate response, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview with TASS.

"The practice of provocations against employees of our embassy, Russian diplomatic couriers, and officials began in Chisinau after pro-Western anti-Russian forces came to power in the country in 2020-2021," the deputy minister said. "The Moldovan side has introduced quotas on the number of embassy staff; there have been repeated instances of our diplomats being expelled, denied accreditation, detained, and prevented from crossing the border.

"Of course, taking into account the principle of reciprocity, all these hostile actions have received and will continue to receive proper responses."

On August 9, the Moldovan police said a drone crashed and exploded in the settlement of Crocmaz, located in the Stefan Voda district on the border with Ukraine. No one was injured. The Moldovan Foreign Ministry considered this incident "a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova" and recalled its ambassador in Moscow for consultations.
