A man documented himself getting ready to attend a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest in Delhi in a "Get Ready With Me" (GRWM) video that has gone viral on social media.
The original video has since been deleted, but clips shared by several users on X show the man trying on different outfits before urging others to join the demonstration.
The video, titled "GRWM to join the CJP Protest," opened with the man saying he was heading to Jantar Mantar to "fight for our country."
As he tried on different outfits, he described his clothing choices to viewers.
"We have these really cute denim pants that I wear everywhere and this crop top that says 'bad b*'. You have to be a bad b** in order to show up, and then we are accessorising with this scarf which has a cow print," he said while showing his first outfit.
He then changed into another outfit, saying, "For the second fit, we have these skin-hugging pants, whatever they are called. And this tank top which says 'great things are coming' because they are."
Referring to the possibility of having to move quickly during the protest, he said, "These pants are very runnable, very agile, dodge if someone is coming at you."
Before ending the video, he urged people to attend the protest and participate if they were in Delhi.
The video drew mixed reactions online, with some users criticising the approach while others expressed support for the message.
The video surfaced amid the CJP's protests over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
On July 20, the CJP organised its 'Chalo Sansad' march from Jantar Mantar towards Parliament, demanding education reforms and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The march coincided with the opening day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament and witnessed heavy security deployment across central Delhi. Clashes broke out after protesters attempted to breach police barricades near Parliament, prompting security personnel to use tear gas, lathis and anti-riot vehicles to disperse the crowd.
Authorities had deployed more than 5,000 Delhi Police and paramilitary personnel, along with over 25 battalions of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), across the national capital to maintain law and order.
