A car involved in a four-vehicle crash on Auckland’s Southern Motorway continued for a few hundred metres minus its driver, before a passing motorist jumped inside to stop it.

Four cars collided yesterday on the Southern Motorway near Remuera and Epsom in Auckland, leaving lanes blocked.

Footage obtained
