Liverpool are hoping to swiftly add to the loan signing of Ronald Araujo by hashing out a deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola after reaching a reported agreement over personal terms. Barcola leads Liverpool’s list of transfer targets and the Reds are in talks with PSG over a fee, though the European champions are demanding £145m to sell the winger.
Arsenal’s busy transfer window looks set to continue as they move on from their disappointment in not signing Vinicius Jr. They are hunting alternatives in the forward line with Julian Alvarez and the aforementioned Barcola on their list but defensive reinforcements may yet come in the form of Cristian Romero. The Tottenham captain is rumoured to leave Spurs this summer and is eyeing up a switch to their closest rivals.
Meanwhile, Rodri looks set to leave Manchester City amid interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid. The World Cup winning captain is into the final year of his contract and favours a move to Barca – who are considering a second bid after an initial offer of £38m was rejected. City seem to be making preparations for that outcome as they close in on the signing of World Cup breakout star Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille.
Finally, Manchester United are still searching for a left-back with Newcastle’s Lewis Hall seemingly off the table they instead turned their interest on the likes of Antonee Robinson, Jorge Salinas and Joaquin Seys.

Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven has expressed enthusiasm over the club’s current trajectory following his decision to sign a new contract.
Reportedly securing a five-year extension, he was delighted to pledge his long-term future to the side, where head coach Roberto De Zerbi views him as a pivotal figure to build his team around.
“It’s a special moment to sign a new deal and a proud moment for me and my family,” Van de Ven said.
“I’ve always loved Spurs, from the first day I stepped in here. I love the club, I love the fans and I’ve developed really well here.
