EWC 2026 drops Paris-inspired collection for esports with featuring Player’s Jacket and trading cards

The Esports World Cup is taking some of its Paris edition home with it.

The Esports Foundation has unveiled the EWC26 Paris Collection, a new line of apparel and collectibles tied to this year’s tournament, along with the first official Esports World Cup Trading Card Collection.

The apparel collection draws from French design, while the trading cards give fans a way to collect players and Clubs from across the tournament’s different esports titles.

EWC 2026 features more than 2,000 players and 200 Clubs from over 100 countries and runs until August 23.

EWC puts a Paris spin on its apparel

The EWC26 Paris Collection takes inspiration from Toile de Jouy, the French decorative textile tradition known for its detailed patterns. For the EWC collection, those designs incorporate the Eiffel Tower and EWC Trophy alongside other Paris-inspired elements.

The collection also includes the EWC26 Capsule Collection, which focuses on lifestyle apparel inspired by what professional players, creators and Club executives wear while travelling, working and spending time away from competition.

The headline piece is the EWC Player’s Jacket.

The jacket was first introduced in 2024 as an exclusive item for players who qualified for the Esports World Cup. Designed in partnership with Berlin-based menswear brand A Kind of Guise, it has since become one of the tournament’s more recognizable pieces of apparel. The brand has previously collaborated with adidas, Monocle and Nanamica.

The 2026 Player’s Jacket features the EWC’s “Rise Above” motto, a Paris patch commemorating this year’s tournament and a hidden inscription linking the wearer to the EWC Trophy.

The jacket was originally limited to players, but fan demand led the Esports Foundation to release a public edition in 2025. That will continue this year with the second public edition of the Player’s Jacket, which comes in a limited-edition colorway.

It also has a bit of celebrity history behind it. Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted wearing the EWC Player’s Jacket, helping push the tournament’s apparel beyond its esports audience.

The EWC26 Paris Collection is available through the official EWC store and at the EWC 2026 Fan Fest, with more drops planned throughout the tournament.

EWC is also getting trading cards

The Esports World Cup is also launching its first official Trading Card Collection, featuring players and Clubs from the 2025 tournament.

The collection reflects one of EWC’s defining characteristics: it brings multiple esports together under a single competition. Players from different games appear in the same collection alongside the Clubs they represented at EWC 2025.

The cards also come with a digital component through Kolex. Each physical card has a QR code that lets collectors unlock its digital twin in the Kolex app. From there, they can earn points, compete on global leaderboards and unlock rewards during the tournament.

The inaugural collection will be available through the official EWC online store, the EWC Fan Fest in Paris and Kolex.com.

The combination of physical and digital collecting also gives EWC a way to build an annual record of its players and Clubs. The first collection covers EWC 2025, with future editions potentially giving fans a way to build a collection around each tournament.

For 2026, that collection starts with the players and Clubs that made their mark at last year’s event, while the new Paris apparel gives fans something tied specifically to this year’s tournament.

The EWC26 Paris Collection is available now, with additional releases scheduled throughout the seven-week event in Paris.
