The drone attack targeted PJSC “Orsknaftorgsintez” (Orsk Oil Refinery).

Earlier, Mayor Artem Vorobyov confirmed the attack on the region. In addition, temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft were imposed at Orsk Airport.

PJSC “Orsknaftorgsintez” is one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation, located in the city of Orsk in the Orenburg Region. It is part of the “ForteInvest” holding company, which belongs to Mikhail Gutseriev’s “Safmar” group.

The refinery’s processing capacity is approximately 6 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The facility produces a wide range of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, jet fuel, and other petroleum products. The Orsk Oil Refinery plays a key role in supplying petroleum products to the Urals and the Volga region, and a portion of its output is exported.

According to ASTRA, one man was killed and at least two others were injured in the Voronezh region as a result of a drone attack.

One of the victims was on the street at the time of the attack, while the other was on the grounds of a large logistics center.

Earlier, eyewitnesses told ASTRA about two people injured in an attack on a Wildberries marketplace warehouse in the region.

ASTRA sources confirmed a fire at the oil refinery in Komsomolsk-on-Amur; there were no casualties.

“Auxiliary equipment caught fire at the oil refinery. There were no casualties, and no exceedances of maximum permissible concentrations were recorded,” the report states.

The fire has now been extinguished. The cause of the fire has not been specified.
