DAGUPAN CITY — While much of the city was nearly submerged after days of heavy rain and a series of high tides, St. John Cathedral stood like an island — completely dry inside and around its churchyard. But this was no miracle, just technology that works, said Msgr. Manuel S. Bravo, the parish priest.
