TACLOBAN CITY — Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Tuesday, Aug. 11, led the turnover of 50 new emergency response motorcycles to police units in Eastern Visayas as the government seeks to strengthen police mobility and response capability in tourist destinations across the region. The motorcycles were distributed to tourist police units under the region’s provincial and city police offices. Southern Leyte received nine units; Leyte and Tacloban City received eight each; while Biliran, Ormoc City, Samar, Eastern Samar and Northern Samar each received five units.
