Live updates of the tour clash between the All Blacks and the Sharks in Durban.

The All Blacks have started their first tour of South Africa in 30 years with a win against the Stormers and now travel to Durban to play the Sharks.

One name sticks out more than any other, that of 44-year-old Ma’a Nonu, who last represented the All Blacks 11 years ago, when he helped New Zealand win the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The midfielder joined the Sharks last week and will become the oldest player to face the All Blacks, if he is brought off the bench.

Meanwhile, the tourists will be captained by Luke Jacobson, who is in charge of a stronger side than coach Dave Rennie fielded to face the Stormers.

The All Blacks haven’t played the Sharks in their modern form, but they did come away with positive results against their predecessor Natal.

New Zealand have never lost a game to the provincial side, but drew their 1960 fixture 6-6.

Englishman Matthew Carley will take charge of this tour fixture and could give an insight in to how he might referee the first test of the series on August 23. The All Blacks have struggled against South Africa when Carley has the whistle, losing all three times he’s refereed their matches against the Springboks.
