President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his evening video address, Ukrinform reports.
"Russia used missiles from North Korea again in an attack against Ukraine on the night of this day. Ballistic missiles were used against Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia from several Russian regions. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. My condolences to all those who lost loved ones. Dozens of people were injured in the strikes," he said.
Zelensky added that the nighttime missile strikes were launched from Russia's Kursk, Rostov, Oryol, and Voronezh regions.

The president emphasized that the situation in Zaporizhzhia was particularly difficult.
In addition, drone strikes of various types continued throughout the day against frontline cities and villages, from Sumy region to Kherson region.
As Ukrinform reported, according to intelligence data, Russia suspended the production and use of Kinzhal and Kh-32 missiles in April this year, reallocating resources to other types of ballistic weapons.
