Razer has unveiled the Naga V3 Pro, the latest evolution of the brand's iconic Naga series of MMO gaming mice. Priced at $179.99, the Naga V3 Pro introduces several significant upgrades over its predecessor, including an improved sensor and switches, more buttons, and a lighter weight.

The Naga V2 Pro has long stood as a consistent champion on our list of the best gaming mice, and it's earned its laurels as the best MMO gaming mouse. Building upon this strong foundation, the all-new Naga V3 Pro brings a host of new hardware improvements and user-focused features that will continue to set the bar for a gaming mouse designed for avid MMO fans.

The Naga V3 Pro comes with up to 23 programmable buttons, or two more than the Naga V2 Pro, although one of those is on the base of the mouse and won't be accessible during gameplay. With the Naga V3 Pro, Razer has also transitioned to the company's Gen 4 optical mouse switches for the main buttons. These are rated for over 100 million clicks, with a 12% lighter actuation force compared to the previous Gen 3 switches.

The new iteration features a modular design that allows gamers to alternate between three swappable magnetic side plates. There is a 12-button side plate for MMOs and a six-button one for MOBAs or battle royale titles, as well as a simple two-button layout for the FPS genre. Despite featuring different hardware and more buttons, the Naga V3 Pro is up to 13% lighter than the Naga V2 Pro.

On the inside, the Razer Naga V3 Pro features Razer’s flagship Focus Pro 50K (Gen-3) optical sensor. It is a substantial upgrade over the previous Focus Pro 30K (Gen-1) sensor found in the Naga V2 Pro. The Naga V3 Pro is not the first Razer mouse to incorporate the Focus Pro 50K sensor, though. The Focus Pro 50K sensor also appears in the acclaimed Viper V4 Pro that came out several months ago. Nonetheless, the inclusion of the Focus Pro 50K on a Naga-series product is a major leap forward.

As you can infer from the model name, the Focus Pro 50K has a maximum sensitivity of 50,000 DPI, a remarkable 67% increase over the already impressive Focus Pro 30K. The jump in DPI allows for more precise cursor movements. However, the improvements extend far beyond just raw sensitivity. One standout feature of the Focus Pro 50K is its DPI granularity: users can now make 1-DPI incremental adjustments, compared to the Focus Pro 30K, which only allowed adjustments in 50-DPI steps.

In terms of other performance metrics, the Focus Pro 50K features a 930 IPS tracking speed and a 90 G acceleration rating, representing a 25% and 29% increase over the Focus Pro 30K, respectively. These advancements mean the Focus Pro 50K is more agile, responsive, and more consistent in tracking compared to its predecessor.

As far as battery life goes on the Naga V3 Pro, gamers can expect up to 280 hours on Bluetooth or up to 155 hours on Razer's proprietary HyperSpeed Wireless 2.4 GHz connection technology. That means you can pair it with Razer's HyperFlux V2 wireless charging mouse pad or the Razer Mouse Dock Pro.

The Naga V3 Pro launches with an MSRP of $179.99, the same MSRP as the previous Naga V2 Pro, despite the array of upgraded hardware. The Naga V3 Pro is available on Amazon at the launch price and for purchase directly from Razer’s official online store.
