According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its operational update as of 22:00 on August 11, 2026, on Facebook.

"A total of 185 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day. The aggressor launched one missile strike, using 11 missiles, carried out 58 airstrikes involving 208 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,770 kamikaze drones for attacks, and conducted 2,458 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas," the report said.

According to the General Staff, four combat engagements took place on the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes since the beginning of the day. The enemy carried out 50 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

During the day, on the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions six times near Lyman and Starytsia and in the directions of Okhrimivka and Vodiane. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy launched nine attacks near Zahryzove and in the directions of Radkivka and Petropavlivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

Seventeen attempts by Russian forces to advance were repelled on the Lyman axis near Karpivka, Zarichne, and Dibrova. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.

On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped eight attempts by Russian troops to advance near Riznykivka, Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, and in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 34 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and in the directions of Dovha Balka, Stepanivka, Toretske, Novyi Donbas, and Kucheriv Yar. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

The enemy launched 22 attacks on the Pokrovsk axis. Russian forces attempted to advance near Nove Shakhove, Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novomykolaivka, as well as in the directions of Shevchenko, Myrne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 38 Russian soldiers were killed and 16 wounded in this area today. Ukrainian forces destroyed four vehicles, one UAV command post, and 22 personnel shelters. Another four artillery systems, six vehicles, four pieces of specialized equipment, one electronic warfare system, and 118 personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 373 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, Russian forces launched one attack in the direction of Ternove.

On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the directions of Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Huliaipole.

On the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske axes, Russian forces did not conduct offensive operations.

There were no significant changes in the situation on the other axes.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian Buk-M3 air defense system worth $45 million in the Luhansk region.
