Among the priority targets identified for the suspect by his handler were oil depots, fuel and lubricant storage facilities, and key power plants.

The agent’s task was to locate the necessary facilities, film them, and transmit the corresponding coordinates.

To do this, he drove around Kropyvnytskyi and the surrounding areas of the Kirovohrad region in his own car.

The suspect also monitored the combat positions of Ukrainian air defense systems and the aftermath of previous strikes.

According to the case file, the attacks were being planned by a resident with pro-Kremlin views who had been recruited by the Russians and was evading the draft.

It was established that the suspect not only received operational training from a handler in Russia but also studied the intricacies of reconnaissance by studying manuals from Russian military training institutions that he found online.

Cybersecurity experts and SSU investigators exposed the perpetrator, documented his crimes, and detained him at his place of residence.

During a search of his residence, investigators seized a smartphone containing evidence of his work for Russia.

SSU investigators informed the detainee that he is suspected of violating Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

The suspect is currently in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

As reported by Ukrinform, the SSU detained a blogger who, using his own Telegram channels, coordinated Russian airstrikes in the Kramatorsk area and spread Russian propaganda.
