YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, August 12. /TASS/. Russia has no claims against Japan and poses no threat to its security, President Vladimir Putin stated while observing the final stage of the Russian Pacific Fleet’s military exercises.
"We do not pose a threat to Japan. We have absolutely no claims against it," the Russian leader emphasized.
According to him, despite this, Japan has classified Russia as a major threat for the first time in its most recent military doctrine documents.
