TACLOBAN CITY — The city government here has officially declared on Thursday slain student and scout Chris Lorenz Fabian as the city’s “Young Hero.” It honored his courage and selfless sacrifice during the tragic shooting at San Jose National High School (SJNHS) on June 22. The recognition was conferred through City Ordinance No. 2026-16-15, which recognizes Fabian’s “extraordinary selfless courage and supreme sacrifice” in the face of danger.
