A house on a quiet residential street has been taped off by police for six days after bones were discovered.

Forensic investigators have been combing the property in Biggin Hill, South London, for evidence since Friday.

Police rushed to Aperfield Road at around 1.33pm and quickly cordoned off the road, but a week later, neighbours have yet to be updated.

Blue forensic tents and fencing have been put up around the property's driveway as the investigation continues.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that bones were found at the home.
