The head of state announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"I began my trip to the Ivano-Frankivsk region by honoring the memory of Ukraine's fallen defenders. Eternal honor and gratitude to everyone who defended Ukraine and gave their life in this fight. May the memory of our fallen warriors be blessed," Zelensky wrote.

He also thanked those who create memorial spaces for heroes, where Ukrainians can come and say "thank you.""It is very important that there be more of these spaces. Everyone who gave their life so that others could live in peace deserves this," the President emphasized.

As previously reported, one such place in Kyiv is the Wall of Remembrance of Those Who Fell for Ukraine, located along Triokhsviatytelska Street at St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery in central Kyiv. The wall features flat metal structures displaying photographs and brief biographies of Ukrainian volunteers, service members, and representatives of Ukrainian security forces who died defending Ukraine against the Russian invaders.
