On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, the Karnataka Lok Bhavan will be open to the public on August 16, 17 and 18 from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

As per a release from the Lok Bhavan, people are requested to visit only designated areas and adhere to the strict guidelines issued.

Every visitor must carry a government-issued ID card like Aadhaar card and produce it during a security check at the entrance. All visitors will mandatorily undergo frisking before entering the premises of the Lok Bhavan.

Private vehicles and taxis will not be allowed inside the Lok Bhavan. Bags and backpacks, pan masala, gutka, tobacco items, cigrattes and alcohol, cameras, laptops, electronic devices, sharp objects, match-boxes, lighters, arms and ammunition are prohibited inside Lok Bhavan.
