MELITOPOL, August 13. /TASS/. NATO instructors and weapons arrive at Ukrainian ports under the guise of commercial cargo on ships, which Ukraine asks Russia not to attack, military expert Vitaly Kiselyov told TASS.

"Ukraine has long been using civilian vessels to transport military cargo and deploy its combat systems. Western mercenaries and weapons arrive at Ukrainian ports under the guise of commercial cargo. NATO instructors are transported on ships flying the flags of third countries. And now, when Russian missiles and drones cover these ‘civilian targets,’ Kiev is trying to press the stopcock to preserve its supply channels," Kiselyov said.

He noted that in the modern war waged by Kiev, the concept of a "civilian vessel" has become blurred.

"I believe that this is not a step towards peace, but an attempt by Kiev to bargain for safe corridors for the transfer of military supplies and preserve the remnants of its presence in the Black Sea. They need to fix an agreement that will give them an advantage over us in logistics," Kiselyov said.

He hopes that the Kremlin would not take seriously the proposal of the Kiev regime and would continue to strike at the facilities that it considers necessary.

Earlier, Reuters news agency quoted sources as saying that Ukraine had sent Russia a proposal to stop attacks on civilian targets in the Black Sea.
