Two roads closed after crash injures pedestrian in Hokitika

Two major roads are closed in Hokitika following a serious crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

Police were called to the incident just before 9am on Friday.

Fitzherbert and Park Streets remain closed while emergency services are at the scene.

One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are requesting motorists avoid the area.
