LUCENA CITY — After a week of relative calm, Taal Volcano in Batangas province recorded 15 volcanic earthquakes in the past 24 hours, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Friday, Aug. 14. The Phivolcs morning bulletin indicates that the earthquakes were accompanied by three volcanic tremor episodes lasting between two and 120 minutes.
