That is according to Fontanka, Ukrinform reports.

"Damage was recorded, followed by a fire at the Ust-Luga port. Specialists have begun firefighting operations. Combat operations are ongoing," Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko said.

He added that 51 UAVs had been shot down over the Leningrad region as of 06:21.

The report said an air raid alert was declared in the region at 02:53.

St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport has been operating under coordination with the relevant authorities since 03:00. Delays to some flights were also reported.
