Ariana Grande dominates Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart this week, but not by appearing at No. 1. The pop superstar launches nearly every track featured on her new album Petal on the 50-space list of the most-played tunes of any style on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music throughout the United States.

Grande claims two top five wins, while a trio of cuts from Petal launch inside the top 10. Even she cannot outperform the hottest two country stars in the nation at the moment, though. This period, one superstar in that genre replaces another shortly after the reverse happened just last week.

Ella Langley Returns to No. 1 on the Streaming Chart

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” is back in charge of the Streaming Songs chart, rising from No. 2 to No. 1. Langley pushes her collaboration partner Morgan Wallen off the throne.

Last frame, Wallen debuted his new single “Been By Now” at No. 1. In doing so, he pushed “Choosin’ Texas” down to second place. Now, the reverse has happened, with Langley knocking Wallen out of the top spot after only one stay.

Morgan Wallen Scored His Sixth No. 1 Last Week

Just last period, Wallen collected his sixth career No. 1 on the Streaming Songs ranking. “Been By Now” is one of three of his champions to rule for only a single frame.

With a sixth leader, Wallen broke his tie with Travis Scott and matched Grande’s record of half a dozen leaders. Wallen and Grande now sit side-by-side and jointly claim the fifth-most No. 1 hits in the history of the roster.

They trail Drake, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Justin Bieber. Drake leads with 21 champions, followed by Swift with 11, while Lamar and Bieber have accumulated seven apiece — just one more than either Wallen and Grande.

Ella Langley Breaks a Historic Tie

As “Choosin’ Texas” surges back to the top spot, it breaks out of a tie with “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Bieber. That global Latin-pop smash enjoyed 16 weeks running the Streaming Songs tally.

“Choosin’ Texas” now stands alone as the fourth-longest-running No. 1 in the history of the ranking, with 17 frames in charge. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” remains far ahead with exactly half a year — 26 weeks — at No. 1. Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus kept “Old Town Road” on top for 20 periods, while Wallen’s “Last Night” racked up 19 throughout 2023.

Ariana Grande Claims Four Top 10 Hits This Week

Grande has now charted a total of 32 top 10 hits on the Streaming Songs chart, and four of them appear inside the highest region at the moment. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” returns to its previously-established peak of No. 3, where it debuted in mid-June.

“Petal,” the title track from Grande’s new album, opens one rung lower at No. 4. Two more Petal songs launch inside the top 10, as “Kiss Me” and “Stay” debut at Nos. 8 and 9, respectively.

Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen Claim Multiple Top 10s

Langley and Wallen also appear multiple times inside the Streaming Songs top 10 this week. In addition to “Choosin’ Texas,” Langley’s “Be Her” drops to No. 6. “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” her duet with Wallen, declines one space, to No. 7.
