After teasing us with a first look, excitement is building for the Selfridges 2026 advent calendar, especially with the release of its first ever fragrance calendar alongside its beauty offering. Named ‘the big beauty haul’ and ‘the fragrance haul’, the two signature yellow advent calendars have caused a stir over on Instagram where fans are seemingly more excited about this year’s perfume offering.
Last year, the luxury retailer satisfied make-up lovers with hard-working products from cult names like Hourglass and Lisa Eldridge, but on the skincare front we were less impressed. This time round, it has upped its skincare offering with names like Augustinus Bader, Dr. Barbara Sturm and Tatcha behind its coveted yellow doors.
Meanwhile, the Selfridges fragrance advent calendar is set to be an exploration of niche perfumery, with premium brands like Ex Nihilo, Fragrance Du Bois and V Canto in the line-up.
The full list and total worth of both haven’t been announced, but read on for what we know so far about the Selfridges beauty and fragrance advent calendars for 2026.

Following a first look reveal on the retailer’s social media pages, we’ve been able to take a good guess at what is featured in the Selfridges beauty advent calendar for 2026.
This year skincare hasn’t taken a back seat with many luxury brands hiding behind the doors. Reflecting the hype the brand saw this year, it looks like it’s set to include Augustinus Bader’s the rich cream, which senior shopping writer Lucy Smith noted left her skin looking plumper after several weeks of use in her review. This is joined by Augustinus Bader’s the hydrogel face mask, which makes the calendar feel more considered than simply dropping a random pricey moisturiser into the mix. We’ve spotted the Tatcha luminous dewy skin mist, as well as one of our IndyBest favourites, the Elemis pro-collagen black cherry cleansing balm.
Make-up wise, we’ve spotted the Gucci l'obscur mascara which is highly rated, as well as Marc Jacobs’s new beauty born star eyeshadow that feels appropriately festive. Lips are main event with Kylie by Kylie Jenner’s supple kiss lip glaze, Laneige’s glaze craze tinted lip serum, and a Burberry lipstick in the mix. There's also a Charlotte Tilbury airbrush matte flawless setting spray mini, plus a treat from Refy.
There's plenty for nails and body, including three Manucurist products (active shine, glass cuticle pusher and huile verte nail and cuticle oil), Sol de Janeiro’s delícia drench shower oil and the Mirror Water buff body dry brush.
Fragrance also makes an appearance, with Phlur cherry stem and a Jo Malone scent included.
Exact details are thin at the moment but as it stands Selfridges has listed the price at £250, which is the same as last year. If you want to be the first to hear about the calendar, you can join the Selfridges Unlocked waitlist to get ahead of the launch.
The fragrance advent calendar is a first for Selfridges and features an impressively niche-heavy selection. Rather than filling the calendar with familiar designer scents, Selfridges appears to be using it as an opportunity to introduce shoppers to more specialist perfume houses.
We’ve spotted some particularly desirable inclusions. Initio oud for greatness is a cult favourite for fans of powerful, spicy oud, while musk therapy offers a much softer, clean-musky counterpoint. Penhaligon's halfeti brings a more established British luxury name, while New Notes latte di cherry taps into the continuing appetite for sophisticated cherry and gourmand fragrances. I’ve spotted a full sized Ormonde Jayne suede silhouette, which costs £225 on its own.
Perhaps most excitingly, the inclusion of Ex Nihilo lust in paradise and Fragrance Du Bois patchouli gourmand are both seriously high-end propositions. The full-size Ex Nihilo is currently listed at £365, while the full-size Fragrance Du Bois fragrance is £320, demonstrating just how premium the brands in this calendar are.
If you’ve been wanting to try the viral Le Labo scents, it has also included what looks like a 15ml size of thé matcha 26, a comforting and alluring skin scent.
The catch? We don't yet have the final price, complete contents or sizes for every product, so we're reserving judgement on overall value until Selfridges officially confirms the details.
