According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced this, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has supported the creation of a mechanism for transferring designated examples of destroyed Russian equipment to museums in foreign countries. This concerns captured military equipment seized or obtained during efforts to repel and deter Russia's armed aggression. The equipment will be transferred free of charge for use as museum exhibits or for organizing exhibitions. The decision was made at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine," the statement said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, transferring destroyed examples of captured equipment to foreign museums will contribute to the international documentation of the consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine. In particular, museums in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark and the Netherlands will receive captured T-72 tanks for exhibitions. The enemy equipment has been rendered inoperable, contains no explosive elements and can safely be displayed to visitors abroad.
"Such exhibitions abroad will help convey objective information about Ukraine's struggle for independence and provide the international community with real evidence of the war," the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
The project will also contribute to the development of cultural diplomacy and strengthen cooperation with foreign museum institutions.
The Ministry of Defense, together with other government agencies, is strengthening efforts to inform the international community about Russia's armed aggression, preserve international support for Ukraine, and consolidate the efforts of partner states to restore Ukraine's territorial integrity and achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian military personnel losses reached 42,860 in July, the highest monthly figure since January 2025.
