According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.

“As a result of enemy strikes in the Sumy region over the past day, one civilian was killed and four people were injured. Damage and destruction to private homes, non-residential buildings, and civilian infrastructure were also recorded,” the statement reads.

Specifically, a 62-year-old man died at a medical facility after sustaining injuries on August 13 during multiple rocket launcher shelling in the Seredyno-Buda community.

As noted, in the Seredyno-Buda community, a 58-year-old man was wounded as a result of Russian shelling, and a 71-year-old woman, a 60-year-old woman, and a 37-year-old man sustained injuries.

According to the Regional Military Administration, two men aged 52 and 55 and a 21-year-old woman sought treatment at a medical facility after being injured on August 13 as a result of MLRS shelling in the Seredyno-Buda community. A 51-year-old man, who was injured on August 11 in the city of Sumy as a result of a strike by a Russian drone, sought medical attention.

The Regional Military Administration also reported that in the Buryn community on the morning of August 14, a 9-year-old boy and a 29-year-old woman were killed when enemy drones struck a house. In addition, it was reported that the number of casualties had risen—five people sustained injuries, including men aged 62, 29, and 70, and women aged 52 and 68.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of August 14, Russian forces attacked the Buryn community in the Sumy region with rocket-powered drones, killing two people, including a nine-year-old boy. Four more people were injured.
