Air skills are, well, skills that you can earn in the air in Forza Horizon 6. They also appear from time to time as a challenge in the Festival Playlist.
For example, in the summer set of daily challenges in the "Horizon Mascot Party" series, you need to earn three air skills. That might sound complicated, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, this is not. Forza Horizon 6's version of an air skill is much more straightforward. However, there are still a few ways you can make this easier on yourself.
Below, we explain how to perform air skills in Forza Horizon 6.
How to perform air skills in Forza Horizon 6
Forza Horizon 6 counts air skills as any time you launch your car into the air. It doesn't have to be a huge leap — just enough so all the wheels come off the ground. It needs to be a jump, too, not a fall. In our testing, Forza Horizon 6 doesn't count driving off a bridge or other high places as an air skill.
Any spot where the road is a bit bumpy and you're going fast enough will be enough to get you an air skill, but some of the best places to pull off air skills are the rice paddies around Tokyo City and your private estate home. The rice paddies are always set down from the road, and driving at high speed up the embankment back toward the road is enough to send you into the air. The paddies around Tokyo City are pretty bumpy, too, so you'd probably get three or more air skills just by driving around them.
The higher you go, the better your skill rating will be, up to "awesome air." If you're completing the "Earn Three Air Skills" challenge as part of the "Mascot Party" series, though, it doesn't matter whether you get a standard air skill or an ultimate one. Any rating counts, and you can use any car.
