AC Milan came from behind to beat Manchester United 4-2 in a preseason friendly on Saturday evening.

It was revenge for former United manager, Ruben Amorim, who now coaches the Serie A side.

Harry Maguire opened the scoring for the Red Devils, but Samuel Chukwueze equalised for Milan.

Patrick Dorgu pounced on a defensive error to restore United’s lead, but Alphadjo Cisse brought the scoreline level.

Chukwueze then set up Goncalo Ramos to head Milan in front for the first time and it was that same flank that was exposed when Ruben Loftus-Cheek made it four.

Michael Carrick’s next fixture will be their Premier League opener at Hull City.
