According to Ukrinform, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported this on Telegram.

The official said that since Saturday evening, Russian forces had attacked two districts of the region more than 20 times using drones, artillery and missiles.

"An industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih was damaged. One person was killed. Another 13 were injured," Hanzha said.

He specified that a 48-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious condition, while ten people were hospitalized in moderate condition. The remaining injured people are undergoing medical examinations.

Hanzha also said fires broke out in the Shyroke and Hrushivka communities in the Kryvyi Rih district.

In the Nikopol district, the regional center and the Marhanets, Myrove, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities came under Russian attack. The strikes damaged infrastructure, an industrial facility, an apartment building and private homes. A 55-year-old man was injured and will receive treatment as an outpatient, Hanzha said.

As reported, Russian forces struck industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih overnight on Sunday, August 16, sparking a fire. Earlier, one person was reported killed and six injured.
