Stephanie Waring has revealed her fitness secrets as she celebrated getting her six pack back after going through early menopause.
The ex Hollyoaks actress, 48, has been open about her struggles with anorexia from the age of 10 and in her teenage years developed an unhealthy obsession with exercise.
But the soap star recovered from her disordered relationship with eating six years ago and now posts body affirmation videos on Instagram.
She previously explained: 'I've learned to have a different relationship with food and now I have a lot more acceptance with my body.'
Now Stephanie exercises for the good of her mental and physical health and has been open with her followers about how she regained her strength after menopause.
Stephanie, who played Cindy Cunningham on Hollyoaks from 1996 to 2026, revealed she has spent 'months heavy lifting and eating without restrictions'.

'Post-menopause doesn’t mean you’re past it. It’s been a while since I’ve seen my abs, but 7 months of consistently lifting heavy and actually eating FOOD no more restricting has made such a difference,' she penned on Instagram.
'I think so many women write themselves off once they hit menopause, but please don’t.
'We lose muscle quicker, things change, but that doesn’t mean we can’t build it back. I’m nowhere near finished yet.'
Previously on TikTok, Stephanie has urged women nearing or going through menopause to build muscle so you 'don't fall apart at 70'.
She shared short clips doing weighted squats, hip thrusts and push-ups in the gym.
She said: 'Why I lift weights in midlife... because I love food, more muscle = faster metabolism, I want to look good in a bikini, supports my hormones because they've been doing their own thing for years, protects my bones because I'm not falling apart at 70!!!'
Stephanie also revealed that she enjoys mixing up her weight lifting workouts by doing yoga.
She shared a video of her yoga class where she performed a number of moves including downward dog, lunges and stretches.

Stephanie revealed last year an insight into her healthy diet as she stopped 'starving myself' and 'spiraling' about food.
The star revealed she changed her mindset about diet and no longer tracked her food which allowed her to get in the best shape of her life due to a fuelling her body with nutritious foods.
Sharing a glimpse into some of the meals she enjoyed, Stephanie tucked into high protein diet which included curries, burgers, sandwiches and salads.
She wrote: 'This time last year I was on holiday, eating carbs, drinking wine, wearing the bikini, and not spiralling about it.
'Why? Because I finally stopped starving myself and started fuelling my body properly.
'No tracking, no rules, no cutting out the foods I love and I got in the best shape of my life.
'This is what real food freedom looks like. You don’t need another diet. You need a reset.'
Last year, Stephanie revealed she had her breast implants removed due to 'debilitating' menopause symptoms.
Speaking in an Instagram video, she explained how despite there being 'nothing wrong' with her implants, she wanted to get 'rid of anything foreign' in her body after starting the perimenopause at age 43, and going through menopause at 45.
Stephanie explained: 'I've gone through an array of debilitating symptoms and I just feel like I need to have a fighting chance of feeling like me again.
'So unfortunately I have to say goodbye to these [implants]. If someone is going through the same thing just know that you are not alone.'
She captioned the post: 'Today I did something I’ve been thinking about for a long time. After 14 years, I had my breast implants removed.'
The actress continued: 'This decision wasn’t made lightly; it’s something I’ve sat with for a while. I’m not here to tell anyone what they should do with their body.

'I’m simply sharing what felt right for me, especially after going through early menopause and feeling like I’ve been fighting against my body for too long.
'I can’t say exactly what changes I’ll notice yet but I know this is a step towards giving my body a break, simplifying what it has to carry, and starting fresh.
'If you’re curious about explant surgery, I’ll share more when I’m ready. For now, I’m resting, healing, and letting this next chapter begin.

The actress, who has two daughters – Mia, 20, and Lexi, 15 – previously said she decided to get breast implants to go up to a D-cup following the birth of her youngest daughter, saying at the time that it helped restore her confidence.
