Police conduct major operation in west Auckland

Police have conducted a major operation in west Auckland on Monday morning.

Residents in Henderson reported seeing several armed officers, a low-flying Eagle helicopter and up to 20 police cars on Universal Drive near Riverpark.

A police spokesperson said the response was part of an ongoing operation, which concluded by around 7am.
